Welcome to Staaap! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Staaap mobile application (the "App"), operated by Sansa Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Staaap is a digital wellness tool designed to help users limit app usage by initiating focus sessions through QR code scanning. You agree to use the App only for personal, lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Your Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your use of the App.
  • You agree not to reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the App.
  • You must not attempt to bypass or manipulate the app-blocking functionality for unintended purposes.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Staaap offers access to certain premium features through a paid subscription plan (the "Subscription").

By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

  • Billing: Your Subscription will be billed to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the time of purchase confirmation.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel or manage your Subscription at any time through your device's account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your Subscription.
  • Pricing: Subscription pricing and duration (e.g., monthly, yearly) are clearly displayed at the point of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with prior notice.
  • Free Trials: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a Subscription.
  • Refunds: All payments are processed through the App Store or Google Play, and we do not offer refunds. For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google support directly.

By purchasing a Subscription, you authorize Sansa Technologies LLC to charge your account according to the terms above.

4. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and design elements of the App are the property of Sansa Technologies LLC and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without written permission.

6. No Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not make any warranties—express or implied—regarding reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sansa Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, you agree to first contact us to attempt informal resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in New York, NY, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Each party will bear its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email (if provided). Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
